We improve behavioral outcomes through research, teaching, and outreach.
We use the science of behavior to improve learning outcomes. My research focuses on the intersection of behavior analysis and education, particularly in developing effective interventions and strategies to support individuals with behavioral and academic challenges. This includes translational research bridging the gap between scientific findings and practical applications. Because life (and interventions!) don’t always go as planned, my lab has developed a systematic line of inquiry about procedural fidelity (or treatment integrity), in which we explore how accurately and consistently interventions are implemented, and the impact of these factors on learning outcomes. The ultimate goal of this research is to create inclusive and supportive learning environments, offering practical tools for fostering positive behaviors and enhanced learning.
